Received the first translations from Iuliana Barb and Laura Anca! They are the first two people who are working on translating the site to Romanian but there are others who have reacted to the call for translators. We'll have to wait and see...

A number of people responded to the call for volunteer translators. The Romani in Olanda Forum was a good move. Apparently, there are a lot of Romanians in Holland who keep in touch with each other through this site.
Received an invitation from a reporter of Radio Romania for an interview. The Urgenta Foundation is definitely interested in this kind of pr.

Placed a request for volunteer translators on the forum of Romani in Olanda and in the guestbook of Heart for Romania. We would like our site to be available in Romanian as well.
Fundraising / Donations
For the third time, Round Table 31 Zeist and Round Table 147
Kromme Rijn organized their Orange Grand Ball. This fundraising party took place at the Zeist Castle. This year the entire
proceeds will be donated to the Urgenta Foundation.
The party included diner, a casino and an auction. At the auction the following items were sold: a full-page ad in the Quote
500 2004, four tickets for the football match of the year; Feyenoord-Ajax, a signed t-shirt of the Dutch tennis player Sjeng Schalken and 3 luxurious nights at the Figi Hotel.
After the auction a dance took place with the surprise act André Hazes (famous Dutch singer) and an illusionists show by the Dutch Masters of Magic (they performed free of charge).
Over 350 guests attended this Grand Gala. The Urgenta Foundation did a presentation at their stand. The proceeds are being estimated at €10,000 to €15,000 (approx. $12,500 - $19,000).
The Cordaid Service Funds has been asked to double this amount and if they do, an amazing budget will be at the Foundation's
disposal. All this money will be used for the current and upcoming projects.
We would like to thank Round Table 31 Zeist and Round Table 147 Kromme Rijn for their commitment, the party and their ability to raise this kind of money for the people in Romania.
