Development Projects 2004
The necessary transport papers will arrive today or tomorrow from Romania. Dijkman Bliteb Transport from 's Heerenberg will load the trucks at April 2nd and deliver the goods in Sibiu somewhere around Tuesday the 6th. Costs: €2400,-.
Read the donation certificates of the University Hospital Sibiu and the Pediatric Hospital Sibiu.
Besides the presentation Arnold will give on April 6th there will also be a last meeting with the NHTV-students about their upcoming traineeship Project.
Development Projects 2004 / Project Plan Development New Hospital
On April 7th, the entire Board of Directors of Urgenta accompanied by Jochem de Jong (electrician) will leave for Sibiu to start the projects of 2004 .
A meeting with the hospital's Board and Jos Gisberts (Heart for Romania) about the Project Development New University Hospital Sibiu, Romania has been scheduled also.
Except for Arnold, Urgenta will return at April 22th. Arnold will be staying until April 30th to supervise the Project traineeship NHTV Students.

Jan Scheerder has got a hold of industrial kitchen equipment. The UMC Utrecht plans to replace their kitchen somewhere in May this year. The old equipment is up for donation to the University Hospital in Sibiu.
However, Urgenta thinks it's best the hospital arranges the transport and the costs of the transport.

Arnold van Rijn will give a small presentation at the Romanian Party, organized by students of the NHTV on April 6th. This party is part of the Traineeship Project which will be supervised by Arnold in Sibiu.
Fundraising / Donations
Received a donation of €15.000 from Round Table 31 Zeist and Round Table 147 Kromme Rijn , raised at the Orange Ball in February. The NCDO will be contacted to see if this amount can be increased in any way since Cordaid no longer doubles raised funds.
GDGO Development Project
Received an e-mail from GDGO Foundation concerning (among other things) the Renovation Dermatology building Project. They've paid a visit to Sibiu on the 26th of February to inspect their ongoing projects. The completion of the building is scheduled at the end of May.
Furthermore, a word about the death of Prof. dr. van der Meer. It means a great loss to all people involved in Romania and the Netherlands.

Made a preliminary cargo list for the Upcoming Projects in April. This has to be send to Romania for clearance at the border.

Bad news from Cordaid Service Fonds: they will no longer double the amount of raised money!! This means a major set-back in our funds for the Upcoming Projects in April. We'll have to find new ways to finance the projects...
Development Plan New University Hospital Sibiu
Jos Gisberts of the Heart for Romania Foundation had a meeting with Ria Oomen, member of the European Parliament. They talked about possible European grants for the feasibility analyses of the Development Project New University Hospital Sibiu, Romania.
