Development Projects 2005

December the 4th, the Urgenta Foundation will leave for a six days stay in Sibiu, Romania. Meetings are planned with the University Hospital and the Children's Hospital about the 2005 development projects.
It's important to talk through the planned work with the hospitals' technicians. The hospitals have to do a lot of preparations for the projects to succeed.

Transportation of materials and other goods will be a topic as well. It seems that this year the funding of the projects is not sufficient to finance the transport too. The Urgenta Foundation would like the hospitals to carry the costs of transportation.

Break-in storage depot Urgenta Foundation

In the weekend of November the 20th there has been a break-in in the storage depot of the Urgenta Foundation. All the kitchen equipment has been stolen. There were no witnesses and the police indicated they couldn't (and wouldn't!) do much about it.

The Urgenta Foundation already informed the University Hospital Sibiu that the Project Replacement Kitchen Equipment had to be canceled.

The GG&GD Utrecht and the UMC Utrecht have requested the Urgenta Foundation to make an inventory of the technical situation in two hospitals in Chisinau, Moldova. The hospitals concerned are the University Hospital and the St. Michael Hospital.
The plan is to do this in combination with the 2005 development projects in Sibiu, Romania in April.

The NHTV-students rounded up their traineeship Project with a €3,500 donation to the Urgenta Foundation !! This was a very successful project for all people concerned in Holland and Romania.
The Hospital's Board and other employees were very impressed by the way the students had organized the whole project.

The Board of the Urgenta Foundation would like to thank all people who were involved in this project, especially the NHTV-students who made the whole trip a succes. We wish best of luck to the all the students and the NHTV.
