First report from physiotherapy students

We've recieved the first report from the physiotherapy students in Romania. They are currently carrying out a placement for their graduation project at the University Hospital in the city of Sibiu.

Project assessment hospitals Moldova got the green light

Urgenta's first project in Moldova (Chisinau) is definitely going to be carried out. A team of four volunteers will leave for Moldova on May the 4th. The team consists of Frans de Jong (replacement of Jo de Jong), Jan Scheerder, Cosmin Costea and Arnold van Rijn. Cosmin will fly straight from Bucharest and the rest of the team will fly with Malev Hungarian via Budapest. If all goes well, they will return home on May the 8th.

The students have arrived in Sibiu, Romania. They keep a diary (in Dutch) about all their adventures.

Placement physiotherapy students at Sibiu, Romania

Mariëlla and Froukje, two physiotherapy students of the Avans University, have left for Romania today to carry out their graduation placement. In Bucharest they will be picked up by someone from the University Hospital. Considering the amount of snow currently in Romania, it will be a long drive to Sibiu. The first two weeks will be used for orientation for possible projects. Then, they will carry out a project for about three and a halve months under supervision of Dr. Luca.

They will keep us posted about their adventures every two weeks...
