We finished our first project today: we installed 8 outlets for oxygen and compressed air at the first aid outpatient's clinic of the Neonatology department. We also placed 8 outlets at the Obstetrics department.
We moved all our (borrowed) equipment and materials to the Children's Hospital today. Tomorrow, we'd like to start the second project over there. We postponed the reorganization project at the University Hospital to the end of our stay.
For the second time, there was equipment and other stuff stolen from "our" storage room!! We will report the thefts to the local police tomorrow. Last Friday, we discovered that a lot of our equipment was stolen. Without the equipment, it's hard for us to carry out these projects. The stolen equipment alone means a financial setback of €3,500 (approx. $4,500). Considering we're just volunteering, it's not really motivating to get robbed two times...
